Brow Embroidery by The Brow Haven - ChrysalisSpa Premier (Review)

I have this shallow goal in life ; to achieve the ability to look "selfie-ready" round the clock by looking good without any makeup.  And so any beauty related procedures that are perm or semi-perm would get me excited to achieve this insignificant goal of mine.

Eyebrows are the frame of our eyes. There's no other feature that can transform your look so readily with the change of it. When we talk about the evolution of brow trends, we came a long way from the early nineties skinny arches to the trendy full and thick Korean brows popular with all the instagrammers today. I myself am a fan of thick korean brows too because his straight design not long balanced my long face, it also pumped in some youth into my appearance.

Most ladies are already familiar with brow embroidery as it has always been one of the top beauty trends in the market. A matching color pigment is used to filled up the brows and reshape them using the feathering technique, so as to create a full and natural brows that frame your eyes. It is important to find a well-trained brow expert who practices safe hygiene, can understand the type of suitable brow shape for you and can work on them to achieve your desire look.

This is an article I taken at Chrysalis Spa Premier outlet during my brow consultation. It is used to emphasize to clients the importance of only allowing experienced brow expert to work on your brows

The Brow Haven™ – The Semi-Permanent Makeup Expert

This is a one-stop beauty boutique by ChrysalisSpa Premier that focus on semi-permanent makeup like brow embroidery, eyeliner and lip embroidery. Renowned for their latest technology and workmanship, The Brow Haven aim to achieve the most natural look in an effective and painless way.

So next let me share with you the issue I had with my own brows.
I had pretty thick brows to begin with and most of the time I'm rather lazy to even draw them. It's just that they were a little uneven and over the couple of years, I seem to lost the ends of my brows. This is quite sucky because it means that my brows are getting shorter and stumpier .

(Before brow embroidery, without makeup)
After a thorough consultation with the brow therapist, we both agreed on trying the latest brow design ; ANGELIC MISTY EMBROIDERY

The latest brow trend now is this Angelic Misty technique that can create a defined silhouette for a fuller and luxurious effect. It look as though that you have applied eyebrow powder to contour your brows. The therapist ensures that this technique complements the straight korean brows that i like and  will enhance my almond shaped eyes.

After trimming my brows and cleaning up the strays, the brow technician started drawing and shaping them to my desired length and thickness.
It didn't take long for me to "approve" the design and get her working on the embroidery.

And before that, she showed me the unopened micro blade and a  pair of gloves to ensure me that all their tools are completely new and sterile. This is very important to avoid the transmission of bacteria that can cause an infection after that.

Numbing cream was applied to ensure I had the best comfort during the process. It also helps with the redness and swelling after the embroidery too.
The embroidery begins as I fell asleep under the white light. I'm not kidding. If you asked me about the pain level, the answer is zero. I had a very late night the day before, so I unconsciously fell asleep during the 90 minutes and only woke up when she told me to look at my brows again to check if I want her to touch up further.

Towards the end of the process when she is finishing up those fine details for me, I start to feel a little pricky sensation and the therapist asked if it's uncomfortable and whether I need more numbing cream. Because I've requested for a thicker brows, the embroidery took a little longer than usual.  Since it was bearable and already finishing, I got her to continue the work.
And the result : I freaking LOVE my brows!
It was what I wanted , in fact the brows were better than what I've imagined.

(The before and after brow embroidery)
A pair of neat , bold and defined brows that look like they were gone over by brow powder makeup because of their 3d powdery texture effect.

I'm going to skip all the details of the after-care steps as they can be easily found on the internet.

There will be a recovery time period of 3-7 days when the skin dries up and scabs start to form.  After they fall off, the colour can fade up to 20-50%. So usually a touch up is necessary after a month to adjust the colour and shape again.

Ta-dah! These are my beloved brows on the 2nd week after the brow embroidery. I've already received many compliments on how my brows really suit my features and frame my eyes so perfectly.

Now I have good news for those interested to get their brow looking chio like mine.
